Hi Friends,
This is an invitation to join me for Plein Air Painting in the South of France.  I'm calling my course A Place for the Senses & A Sense of Place.  We depart on May 31st and return on June 11, 2017.

What I love about this trip is that all you need to do is show up with your materials ready for painting and sight-seeing.  Lisa's Gryphon Art & Travel has taken care of everything else for us:  accommodations, meals, ground transportation to and from the airport in Toulouse and daily excursions, entrance fees to prehistoric caves and castles, and your tuition is included. The cost is $3500 when you pay in full.

Breathe deeply and take in all of it: the colors of fields, flowers, and foods, the warm sunny skies, the taste of local wines and cuisine, the earthy smells of truffle hunting, and the sounds of cafe music in the streets.  In the south of France we will spend each day experiencing its beauty in a variety of locations near Larnagol along the Lot river, painting as we go.

En plein air painting is French for painting "in the open air," and what better way to soak in the flavors of this region known to be the most picturesque in France.  Each of our lessons in landscape painting are coordinated with the features of the day's attraction, be it a marketplace, medieval castle, vineyard, lavender farm, or bridge.  Together we'll live the life of art and history, adventure and relaxation.  Grab a friend or two and let's go!
