Let me simplify if for you and share with you how to create a color wheel that is uniquely designed to accommodate your palette and help you to think about color in a clear and consistent way whether you are working with light or pigments. Your wheel will help you answer every color question you ever have while painting.

Note: My methods are time-tested for creating heirloom quality paintings. I paint completely without toxic solvents and petroleum distillates. Twenty years ago, I started researching solvent-free oil painting methods while I was Full Professor at the University of Puget Sound. I wanted to start a family but was concerned about all the toxic fumes that I and my soon-to-be baby would be consuming five days a week in my teaching studio with 15 open jars of solvents around the room. Please follow my Painting Supply List and watch my video, Solvent Free Oil Painting Made Easy. Have confidence that you can paint at home without toxic fumes. Your liver and your housemate's liver will thank you.
