This course includes six lessons of video instruction accompanied by downloadable materials: a supply list, an 8" x 10" reference photo, and an 8" x 10" reference photo template for each lesson. The templates are for artists that want to save time or lack the drawing skills to accurately draw the composition from the reference photo.

Note: My methods are time-tested for creating heirloom quality paintings. I paint completely without toxic solvents and petroleum distillates. Twenty years ago, I started researching solvent-free oil painting methods while I was Full Professor at the University of Puget Sound. - how to use value to create the illusion of space and form on every surface,
- the relationship between color temperature and value that is a must to understand for creating convincing illusions,
