CLASS DESCRIPTION
In 2014-15, here at Melissa Weinman Studio I taught 15 different workshops on topics relevant to representational oil painting. For those of you who joined me, you studied a textbook's worth of material, and I thank you for helping me create over 40 instructional videos from these workshops.
Because I am committed to helping each of my student-artists achieve his or her goals, starting in Fall 2015, I'm doing things a little differently. Each of my student-artists comes with unique aesthetic preferences, a different life situation, an individual level of mastery, and a specific number of hours to paint each week. Therefore, I'm going to create a course of study for each artist who commits to studying with me. Here is how it works:

- Over the summer you and I discuss your goals.*
- I design a 10-week course of study with assignments for you to meet those goals.
- You set your own pace. I can help you decide how long to spend on each assignment.
- At the end of each course of study you will have finished paintings that demonstrate an accomplishment of your goals.
- At the completion of each ten-week course, I will offer an evaluation of your progress and help you create another set of goals, should you choose to continue study with me. You get the benefit of Individual study ($50/hr.) at a group rate ($15/hr.)
